Official Shopify

For Shopify merchants.
Official Shopify is Live.

Overapt is a governed workspace for your Shopify store. After you authorize Official Shopify, Overapt retrieves operational data for that store only and can propose changes. You can disconnect in Overapt or uninstall Overapt in Shopify. Writes to Shopify run only after you approve them in Overapt.

Stores

Connect one or more brand stores in the same workspace. Each store stays attached to the connection you authorize.

Orders

Overapt imports orders and order metrics for your store (order id, date, status, SKU, quantity, and related commerce metrics). We use that data to operate your workspace — not to build products for other merchants.

Inventory

Overapt retrieves inventory positions for products in your store. Empty data is shown as unavailable, not as zero.

Products

Overapt reads product and catalog identifiers so orders and inventory refer to the same SKUs. You can ask Overapt to update product fields. Overapt sends that update only after you approve an Action.

Governed actions

Read operations run after you authorize the app. Product updates and other Shopify side effects are Actions. You approve or reject. Overapt does not silently write to Shopify.

Audit

Authorizations, pulls, approvals, and writes are recorded in the activity log.

What we do not do

We do not combine Official Shopify data across merchants. We do not sell Shopify Information. We do not publish insights about Shopify’s business. We do not use Shopify Information to train foundation models.

Shopify access

Access happens only after you authorize Official Shopify for your store. You may disconnect Official Shopify in Overapt or uninstall Overapt in Shopify. We use Shopify Information only to provide the features described on this page for your Authorized User account.
